At the Gates of Infinity

Have you ever wondered how extraterrestrials express religion?  How do they practice

their unique forms of spirituality? How do they perceive God?

Introduction

Extraterrestrial Spirituality

We do not know how many countless species of aliens exist, nor how many forms of religious expressions they maintain.  Where our own religions, for the most part, revolve around the immediate planet we live on, since we know very little about the vast space beyond, except what we see through the Hubble telescope, or have observed in our own solar system. Our science of astronomy clearly pales in comparison to the advancement of certain “interspacial beings,” and the so-called pseudoscience of astrology, assuming it has validity, is meager  in comparison to beings who understand that not just planets, but that whole galaxies hold influence in our lives -- because all things are universally connected.

If certain extraterrestrial species are advanced enough to where interstellar travel is commonplace, traversing from star to star, or even between galaxies just as easily as you would drive to the super market, then how would their religious views reflect this vast expansiveness?  To an alien's mind, who perceives the grandiosity of outer space as his immediate environment, how does he understand God? Here is an allegorical tale which speculates these ideas.

Beyond the spanning circumference of the event horizon, several parsecs distant, the tiny spherical craft hovered, containing twelve beings from Xeta Centauri. They were preparing to perform their spiritual ritual of Cosmic Absorption, which could be defined as their way of “becoming one” with the Cosmos.

They patiently awaited the internal gravitational implosion from the immense black hole, the mega-magnetic pull that presents extreme danger for any living beings who approach too closely. However, this was a particularly unusual stellar object, a pulsating black hole; rare in most galaxies, but found by experienced spacefarers who know what they are searching for.

This obscure form of black hole pulsated in rhythmic ebb and flow motions, but in long surges every three years in Xeta Centauri reckoning. Upon every third year, the ritual ensued. Like a cosmic heartbeat, with its continual systole and diastole, the dark   orifice pulsated magnetic frequencies without end, exhibiting some cosmic purpose that only few mystic extra-celestials were aware of.  Upon its tremendous outflux, powerful magnetic waves emanated, as if breathing new life and energy into the surrounding galaxy.  However, upon its influx, tremendous gravitational waves pulled inward, and everything around it would be aggressively sucked inward: gas clouds, stars, planets, comets, even the invisible dark matter that was undetectable except through high-frequency mechanisms that certain advanced beings possessed, particularly the Xeta Centaurans. This ethereal dark matter, which they called xynfiru, was actually cosmic ether of a very high vibration, which contained infinitesimal fiats, or spiritual essences that they literally absorbed into their beings.  As they received this highly refined fiat energy into their beings, it permeated them with an invincibility so that the black hole would not tear them to pieces when it drew them inward.  A normal creature’s atomic structure would be literally stretched into an incredible length, into a string of atoms  several light-years across, like a strand of spaghetti. And then the horribly compromised creature would disintegrate, its own disseminated mass blending and merging into the rest of the cosmic dust around it.  And what is to become of the creature’s soul?  That is the question ancient Xeta Centauri sages would ask. They believed the soul returned to the Galactic Heart, where the Oversoul of their immediate island universe existed.  Such a cosmic being was simply the soul of the physical galaxy, an entity, amidst millions of such entities throughout the universe, that belonged to a celestial life-wave beyond our understanding, even beyond that of the angelic kingdom.  Often they were known as extra-celestials.

The Xeta Centaurans were aware that a great white hole existed at the center of the galaxy, exhibiting the same ebb and flow cycles of the rare pulsating black hole, drawing into itself old dying stars, and giving birth to new stars; hence demonstrating Creation in perpetual motion, the cosmic dance of birth, life, and, death in grand scale.  In this sense, the galaxy was ever growing outward from within, just as the whole universe orchestrated this  cosmic dance as well, but imperceptibly too all mortal observers. One could say that this was the cosmic exhale and inhale of the Galactic Oversoul . The Xeta Centaurans believed that this Oversoul was directly connected to their own souls, like spokes on a wheel, or like the many billions of rays emanating from a star.  Likewise, this grand being was interconnected with all other Galactic Oversouls throughout the universe, in a cosmic divine union, functioning together as extra-stellar cells of an even greater cosmic body, which comprised the whole universe, and this was the physical form of the Ultimate Deity, the Nameless One, the Infinite Divine Beingness, Whose circumference  was everywhere, whose center was within the hearts of all living beings throughout existence.

So spoke the ancient sages of the Xeta Centauri, and likewise this held true for the greater cosmic brotherhood of their immediate galaxy. However, there had been a several expeditions of Xeta Centauran spacefarers who had boldly journeyed to other galaxies, discovering that other similar beings thrived there.  Some held rigid barbaric beliefs, and yet others, more advanced and peaceful societies, held belief systems similar to their own. And now knowing this about their space brothers and sisters in the neighboring galaxies, they realized their own teachings where an integral part of a broader universal ancient wisdom, which essentially emanated from the very Heart of  Divine Spirit of the whole universe. The beauty of this philosophy involved the paradox that all things appeared separate, and yet all things were interconnected, and in essence, existed in cosmic union; yet each individual being must realize this on its own in order to experience this sublime reality.

At one time the Xeta Centaurans had ancient writings which held their doctrines, some of which held very crude and erroneous beliefs, but certain societies, through prophets and sages who were connected to the Oversoul, developed deeper and truer teachings.  Eventually, they developed higher consciousness to where they intuitively perceived this inner wisdom from the Divine Cosmic Spirit, and when they began journeying into deep space, likewise they found out their star brothers possessed the same capacity. The network of beings from countless worlds developed and expanded throughout the galaxy, reflecting the inner nature of a celestial interconnection they were growing into, or celestial oneness.  Apparently the goal of all these cosmic beings from innumerable planets, which now included the Xeta Centaurans, was the same: Cosmic Absorption.  For they had learned that their physical shells were mere tools, or vehicles by which to develop and evolve, that they may unfold beyond the boundaries of limited separation, and eventually to be absorbed into the Great Cosmic Oneness of the Universe.

Of course many galactic species of a less spiritually evolved nature yet held to more primitive dogmas, whose god or dogs were confined to their tiny planets. Quite often their further advancement and awakening  required the development of space travel to guide them to realize the idea or reality of deity existed not merely on their little worlds alone, but throughout the immediate galaxy they begin to explore, and ultimately beyond this too. Unfortunately, the arrogant inhabitants of these naïve worlds believed their meager religions were the only way to spiritually attain, or their god was the only one that could save them. Such was the fate of such primitive cultures on most underdeveloped planets. Little did they know that salvation was not the point, but continual spiritual unfoldment was the process, through trial and error, through mistakes and lessons learned, until finally, awakening and realization of the true reality of the Cosmos came, and then cosmic union at last.

The excited Xeta Centaurans cramped within the spherical craft were prepared.  Soundlessly the immense orifice of the black hole widened and swirled as it began the immense gravitational influx.  Then the tiny craft that hovered just beyond the event horizon began slowly falling inward, the strong pull beginning to draw it toward its center of the dark fissure along with other debris.  It slid down and down and down like a cosmic slide.  Although the passengers observed this in normal time, an outside observer would perceive their craft as being suspended upon an impossible precipice of frozen time, beyond space and time itself, seeming to hang there for an eternity.  Time inside the craft was far different than time outside, for by its very nature, a black hole literally warped time and space.

Then the little sphere was literally snatched out of its apparent normal time-space mode, being sucked into the monstrous dark hurricane, along with other debris, and soon gas clouds and stars and such followed. Anything and everything in its path, especially light and objects emanating light such as stars, were vehemently drawn into its gaping jaws.

Due to the spatiotemporal nature of the pulsating black hole, the participants now experienced a reversed effect, for when the travelers entered the event horizon, they perceived their descent in regular time, but now as they were sucked into the very bowels of the cosmic maelstrom, the twelve members of the little craft perceived that time had stood still, for it seemed like eternity, but paradoxically this was a mere second in physical time.  An outside observer would simply see the craft disappearing altogether, as if snuffing out of existence. This was the point where the real experience of the travelers began.  For although their bodies impossibly elongated, within equally elongating craft, like any last extreme stretching out further and further into oblivion, while hurling into the depths of the dark fissure, their souls experienced something on a much higher level.

Within the mystical mode of celestial infinity, this is when they experienced their hearts’ desire, this is when their higher senses tuned into the greater cosmic consciousness of the Divine Spirit, and they sensed an overwhelming bliss and love surrounding and embracing them forever, for they felt that they had returned home at last.  They also had a sense that all boundaries and all parameters had literally disappeared, for the tentacles of their spiritual senses reached outward, as if groping to find any form or boundary to which they were familiar, since they were beings used to the physical plane with all of its limitations, there were no such boundaries of limitations. Instead they sensed a neverending vastness, a touching into the Infinite itself.  Hence, experiencing reality from the place of their awakened souls, they were indeed entering the Infinite, within a grand infinite Universe of Light.  Here on this cosmic plane there existed not the vastness of dark space with billions upon billions of dots of lights, or the greater bodies of light, stars and galaxies.  But in this higher celestial vastness of existence the blinding brilliance of light emanated everywhere, not from a single point, nor from numerous points, but from the whole infinite circumference. This incredible light came from nowhere and yet everywhere.

Although this mystical experience seemed to exist to them for an eternity, while their beings had been raised through higher vibration into the celestial realm, they soon must return to their own denser physical plane.  That wondrous eternity was soon over, and the immense strings of atoms that stretch for countless light-years finally snapped back into their original forms, into the twelve crewmembers, as the reconfiguring craft shot out the mouth of another black hole thousands of light-years from the first one, for it had literally teleported across the space-time continuum, across the vast reaches of the galaxy.  This second dark orifice demonstrated the magnetic outflux mode as the craft traversed space at the other side of this island universe.  The twelve Xeta Centaurans basked in the glow of their unified celestial experience, for they had been transformed, having experienced once again the beautiful cosmic oneness through the rite of Cosmic Absorption.

Each one was a mere drop in the cosmic ocean of life, and yet within each drop was the whole ocean, for together all beings became the whole ocean universe. Each being experienced this great transformation on its own,  but when a whole species, or when all beings realize this together, this becomes such a grand transformation on a cosmic scale, for the Divine Spirit in all its immensity will become truly fulfilled, for its countless trillions of emanations will have returned home at last.

A Moment in Eternity

As I walked along the spanning beach that day, I saw a large cluster of craggy rocks ahead where the breakers crashed vehemently against them.  I watched this action repeat itself over and over and over again, like a mantra that a contemplative monk repeats.  The cycle of ebb and flow began to pound a realization within me as the breakers continually crashed against the craggy rocks.  As I watched one of the waves rise and smash against a rock, it sprayed and splattered into countless drops as they rose and fell back into the water, returning to the ocean once again, from whence they came. Then it hit me!  Only for a moment after the water hits the rock, the drops shatter into pieces, then return to the ocean again.  Yes!  Only for a moment in eternity are we separate from our Divine Source.  Only one second out of forever!  The separation only existed for a fractional moment of time in the eyes of God's Eternity.  Once you realize this, that your physical existence of separation was just a flickering mirage, then you will live in Oneness here now in everlastingness!  Eternal life at last!
